North Ave Candles

At North Ave Candles, I get to dive into the creative challenge of transforming books into candles. Each project starts with understanding the essence of the book—its mood, themes, and characters—and then translating that into a scent and a label design. My favorite part is designing labels that not only complement the candle but also feel like they could sit on a bookstore shelf alongside the book itself. Beyond labels, I create promotional materials and help merchandise the candles in a way that connects them to their literary inspiration. It’s a fun way to combine creativity and design with a unique twist.
